Flesh-eating cannibal spiders are headed for the UK and will soon be invading YOUR home because of our central heating
A plague of daddy long legs spiders are about to descend on Britain in search for a warm bedroom or bathroom
ARACHNOPHOBES look away now because a plague of cannibal daddy long legs spiders are headed for the UK in search for a warm room to feast on their prey in.
The flesh-eating arachnids will be on the lookout for nooks and crannies in heated bedrooms and bathrooms up and down the country.
And the increasingly tepid temperatures combined with moist conditions means the sights of these daddy long legs' will be much more common.
But experts have said the boom isn't an entirely bad thing because the arachnids feed on house spiders and other pesky insects.
Invertebrate charity Buglife say the daddy long legs spiders help keep the numbers of other insects in check and balanced.
"While they do feed on house spiders, both types of spiders are essential for keeping down pests in the home.
