Botched By Nature patient isn’t ‘comfortable’ going out because one of her boobs never developed
A WOMAN whose right boob didn't develop when she hit puberty says her life has been completely affected by it - especially after her first boyfriend blabbed about her issue.
Taylor appears on the latest episode of E! TV show Botched by Nature, where she opens up about having amastia.
The condition is really rare, with less than 1% of women having it. It's the reason her left breast developed by her right didn't, which severely impacted her high school experience.
In gym class I would go hide in the showers to change, because that was at the time when you could start being able to tell that the left side was coming in but the right side wasn't doing anything," she explained.
"High school was difficult, hiding my breasts was hard to do.
"I had to quit the swim team, or I felt I had to, because I couldn't hide.
"At least with everyday clothing there was ways of me hiding, in a Speedo you can't hide anything."
Doctors Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif asked how much the issue had affected Taylor, and she replied she'd say nine of 10. She is so self-conscious she doesn't even like going out with her friends, and her experience of trying to share her issue hasn't helped.

"My first boyfriend, I told him about it and he went and told a lot of his friends, and they went and told other people, so everyone knew," she said.
"I definitely think I would have done so much more if I would have just been like every other girl my age. It holds me back a lot."
The doctors can help Taylor, with Terry explaining he'll need to wait until the surgery to see how big the implants he uses will be.
She wants to be boosted to a D cup, but initially the doctors aren't sure her chest will be able to accommodate that.
Luckily for Taylor the implants do work, and she's thrilled to show off the results when she meets friends on the beach, in a bikini, six weeks later.
"My breasts look fantastic," she said.
"I couldn't be happier with them, it's everything I've hoped for, everything I could've imagined, thought of, dreamt of. They're exactly what I want."
