This guy made an in-flight phone holder from his newspaper and it’s pure genius

A fellow passenger spotted the clever hack and posted it on social media

WHEN you’re travelling economy and there’s no inflight entertainment, you can always watch a movie on your phone.

But then there’s the pesky problem of keeping it upright and in the right position so you’re not risking neck ache to look down all the time.

Well one clever passenger has come up with the perfect solution.

This picture was posted on Reddit by a mightily impressed fellow traveller on the same aeroplane.

He wrote: “A guy on my flight folded his newspaper to make a phone holder.”

Other users were equally knocked out by the McGyver-like skills of this genius.

One wrote: “No way he could have known the headrest would have that configuration. On the spot ingenuity gets my blood pumping.”

Another added: “That’s a smart guy.”

While we admire the awesome origami skills of the guys, there is an even simpler hack you can use to make a similar holder using just the aeroplane sick bag.

Using the ring pull of a can or a long nail, cut a shape in the bag that is slightly smaller than your phone.

Place the phone inside the bag then hang over tray in front or slot into the back of the headrest.

You can then use an inflight magazine to hold the makeshift holder in place.

That way you can save your aching arms and stop holding up the phone for the duration of a movie.
