New Tinder feature lets you send your mates potential dates… But it does sound a bit creepy
There is now a 'Share' function - which allows users to send profiles to their mates if they reckon they might be a better match
SINGLE folk with be all too familiar with the trials and tribulations of Tinder.
You may find yourself swiping continuously on the app only to be met with the same bunch of people that weren’t right for you yesterday either.
Well, now there may be good news for struggling Tinder fans when it comes to finding a decent match… but it is slightly creepy.
The creators of the dating app have now added a special 'Share' function - which allows users to send profiles to their mates if they reckon they might be a better match.
Sharing is caring, right?
The feature works by adding a 'Recommend' function, which means when you come across a profile you deem suitable for a pal, all you have to do is click ‘Recommend xxx to a friend’ - and you can send the link of the person's profile to them directly.

The app will then send an automated message to your mate which pops up on their phone, reading: “I found a boy for you. Get on Tinder and let me know what you think :)”, followed by a link to the supposed matches Tinder profile.
Talk about matchmaking.
While in some ways we reckon this could be great, on the other hand it does seems a little strange – potentially your own profile could be shared thousands of times between thousands of people and you even know it.
Yikes.
