Size 24 mum who struggled to get out of the bath loses HALF her body weight

A MUM is quite literally half the woman she used to be after shedding half her body weight.
Alisha Halliwell, 23, from Wigan, weighed 18st 5lbs and used to gorge on takeaway meals and junk food.
The nail technician wore a size 24 in clothes and said her size was stopping her from enjoying her youth.
But after joining Slimming World Alisha transformed her figure and slimmed to 9st 9.5lb.
"I hated the way I looked,” she said.
"I wanted to enjoy my youth and being overweight stopped me from being outgoing.
"My diet was terrible I would just eat junk food and would do no exercise at all.
"When I started to diet I used to get upset and say 'I can't do it' because I didn't like anything other than junk food, but now I hate it!"
Alisha now wears a size 10 and said her life has "dramatically changed".
She added: "I can now go out and feel confident and enjoy being in company whereas before I was always embarrassed and self-conscious.
"I can walk for a long period of time now whereas before my feet would throb because of the excess weight I was carrying.
"And it sounds silly but now I can jump up out the bath, before it was so heavy to pick myself up.
"It is amazing what losing weight can do."
Alisha also said she now has quite a fan base after showcasing her weight loss online.
"I inspire the whole women race!” she said.

"We have a little Slimming World family and everyone tells me how fantastic I've done and they wish they could achieve the same as me.
"People have even said they've put a photo of me on their cupboards to stop them from going in them to eat.”
Alisha said her family and friends and incredibly “proud” of her makeover.
She said: “For a 23-year-old mum I think my weight loss is an amazing achievement.
"Not everyone can lose nearly nine stone and embrace it.
"It is one of the most difficult things to do but I have done it!
