Furious there’s no headphones jack on the iPhone 7? This ingenious case could solve the problem
Two guys are designing a modified case which will have ports, meaning standard headphones can work with the iPhone 7
PRETTY much everyone in the world is aware the brand new iPhone 7 launched this week.
You'll probably also know not all the changes have gone down that well either.
Top of the pile has to be the removal of the headphones jack, with users instead needing £159 'airpods' to listen to music wirelessly.
If you want to use old-fashioned headphones you'll need a special dongle, which is bulky and ruins the smooth lines of the iPhone 7.
Fear not though, as a couple of intrepid inventors might have come up with a solution.
An Imgur user has posted a series of pictures of a phone case design his brother and a pal have come up with on the site, and it's pretty amazing.
"My brother and his friend have been working on an iPhone 7 case that addresses the lack of ports," user .
"It has a 3.5mm audio jack on the left, and 2 lightning ports, one in the middle and one on the right.
"An iPhone 6s is being used for testing the fit and function for now.
"Pretty rough, but coming along nicely. I'm helping out, what are big brothers for anyway?"

The inside of the case borrows from what's in an iPhone 6 battery case.
The lads have managed to keep it pretty slim too, although it's a bit longer than is really needed. A small price to pay for not needing the dongle though, you might say?
The back is clear and at the base you can see the space for the ports, which easily fit a pair of standard headphones.
No word on whether it is actually compatible yet, but it seems all might not be lost. That said, you probably can't get your hands on an iPhone 7 at the moment anyway.
Anyone sticking with an older device might want to check this out though, as Apple has come under fire for ignoring touchsceen faults on the iPhone 6.
