SpongeBob SquarePants fans can now sleep in a real-life pineapple hotel… just not under the sea
The yellow villa has a private pool and butler service... but it doesn't come cheap
SPONGEBOB SquarePants fans can now spend a night in his famous pineapple home.
The yellow replica villa in the Caribbean which is by, but sadly not under, the sea was created by kids’ TV channel Nickelodeon and the Nick Resort Punta Cana.
A stay in the creative two-bed, three-bath holiday home, in the Dominican Republic, would set you back £3,000-a-night.
But it may be worth it for true fans, with guests getting access to a shell telephone, special kids’ play area, and a life-size replica of Gary the snail to play out the cartoon.
There’s even butler service thrown in – as well as a private infinity pool and oversized marble bathroom.
Staff will take care of your families every need, arranging everything from moonlight beach dinners, to wine tastings, to pizza and pyjama parties.
