Obese 20-stone mum lost HALF her body weight in just seven months – by walking her boy in his BUGGY
Izzy Cummings has completely changed her life for the sake of her children
WHILE most mums struggle to shed the baby weight, having children actually HELPED one woman to lose a staggering nine stone.
Walking over seven miles a day with her son in a buggy allowed Izzy Cummings to make an incredible body transformation.
Izzy, also mum to three-year-old Grace, has always battled with her weight.
Constantly basing her food choices around convenience, grabbing fast food and takeaways really began affecting her life.
The mum-of-two revealed: "It was all convenience food – quick, easy and fast.
"I was always eating quarter-pounders with extra cheese – my favourite.
"But really I would eat anything I could get my hands on."
Worryingly, Izzy would binge on chocolate for breakfast and went to her local Chinese takeaway so much that knew her by name.
As Izzy struggled to gain control of her diet, she tipped the scales at a hefty 20 stone.
She admitted: “I was an emotional eater.
"A bad day meant I would turn to a bar of chocolate… so would a good day. I just loved food."
Following the birth of her daughter Grace in 2013, Izzy put on five stone.
It wasn’t until the mum fell pregnant with her son that she decided she needed to change her life.
She said: "I could no longer be the fat girl, so I started walking and walking.
"I wanted to get thin and be healthy for my children."
After the birth of baby Jason in February, the inspirational 32-year-old has managed to HALF her body weight.
Since her fitness journey began, Izzy has walked almost 1,500 miles, dropping from a size 24 to a size 12.
The proud mum from Coatbridge, near Glasgow, said: "Rather than make me put on weight, Jason's help me lose it.
"I've never felt better."
