BHS relaunches online tomorrow and we’ve got a sneak peek at what you can buy – and it’s started a sale already!
You'll be able to get 10 per cent off everything when BHS.com launches tomorrow
BHS is relaunching online from tomorrow selling lights, towels, bedding, rugs and other home furnishings - and you’ll be able to get 10 per cent off.
After BHS went into administration in April the website and brand name was bought was the Al Mana Group.
The company also works with international brands like Mango, Zara, United Colours of Benetton and Reebok.
BHS.com will be a much smaller operation, with just 84 employees based in London.
It is being run by David Anderson, the former head of international at BHS, who said that a “huge amount of work has gone into rebuilding and launching BHS back into the UK as an online retailer.”
From tomorrow there will over 500 items in its home range, rising to 1,500 by next year.
Next month, it will launch a range of kitchen and dining ware, as well as clothing.
Regular BHS shoppers will be pleased, as a third of the items are old favourites. The prices will the same or lower, BHS said.
There will also be an introductory 10 per cent off for shoppers. Although, BHS said that it doesn’t plan to run mega discount offers like its high street ancestor did.
Instead, it will focus on quality and price and if it does run a sale then it will be very selective, perhaps doing it one department at a time.
Delivery will cost between £3.50 for standard and up to £6.95 for next day, orders over £50 will be free.
BHS gave the Sun Online an exclusive sneak peek into some of items that will on sale from tomorrow.
One of the most popular sections for BHS before the collapse was lighting and this will be a real focus for the online shop - around 50 per cent of the items that be available tomorrow, will be in this category.
The Broc Table Lamp will cost £120. BHS says that its contemporary looking lamp with a large black shade is “beautiful and stylish”.
