It's the battle of the Saturday night TV competitions!

The Sun recently reported that viewers can get stung with some pretty big fees depending on how they vote.

Rates vary depending on which number you ring and from what operating system.

For Strictly Come Dancing fans that ring a Mobile Short Dial Code number on a landline, the cost is just 15p per minute.

This means that as long as you don’t forget to hang-up the phone while ringing Strictly, it’s cheaper to register a vote on the popular BBC dancing competition.

Staggeringly, you can get over DOUBLE the Strictly votes than you can when you ring into the X Factor phone-line.

Strictly viewers can visit the show’s website and support their favourite act with three votes, which doesn’t cost a penny.
