This AK47 £5 note has just fetched a whopping £80,100 on eBay

A FIVE pound note with the serial number AK47 has just been sold for the hefty price of £80,100, leaving online auction watchers completely astounded.

There are now FOUR of these notes for sale on eBay, with a price guide of £1Million. 

Gareth told The Sun that he got £10 out of a cash machine and that it was made up of two new £5 notes.

He spent one of them quickly, then realised that the other note had an AK47 serial number.

He remembered that others with that serial number had been sold for hundreds of pounds online and decided to give it a go.

Not only is Gareth’s fiver one of the early edition notes, but the AK47 aspect gives it an extra mobster appeal – perfect for Instagram bragging.

Earlier this morning, the note's value climbed to a staggering £80,100 – but unfortunately the price didn't rise any higher when the bidding ended at 10.43pm tonight.
