A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD boy who saved up his pocket money for two years to buy a pony has broken down in tears of joy after seeing the animal for the first time.

Sabastian Lucas, from Queensland, Australia, was so determined to get a horse that he launched his own lemonade business, which involved making fizzy pop and selling it on a stall outside his home.

The budding entrepreneur, who managed to make £1,876, was left stunned after coming face-to-face with his white stallion.

His mum, Juliana Kent, told : “He has been selling his lemonade and iced tea at friends and families parties for two years.

“The proceeds of his sales, plus his tooth fairy money and Christmas money all went into a mason ball jar.”

Juliana bought a Welsh mountain pony called ‘Tom Boy’ and hid it in the stables at the back of their property.

When Sabastian was taken into the garden, he was rendered speechless and struggled to contain his emotions.

Juliana filmed his reaction and shared it on Facebook. It has since been watched 17,000 times and liked by 500 fans.

She said she was “proud” of her son for his dedication and for taking on his new animal care responsibilities without complaining.

She added: “Never tell your kids they can’t achieve something. Anything is possible.”

Sabastian, who was in shock for three hours, commented: “I can’t believe this morning I wished extra hard for a pony and this afternoon all my dreams came true.”
