Orphan foal Breeze still sleeps with his teddy Buttons three years after he was abandoned by his mother
Breeze and Buttons have become inseparable after the foal was nursed back to health by rescuers
AN orphaned foal nursed back to health with the help of a teddy bear still sleeps with it after three years.
Breeze was abandoned by his mother and taken to a sanctuary in 2013 when he was just hours old.
He got Buttons the teddy for company and they have become inseparable.
Breeze became an instant celebrity after pics of the adorable pair surfaced online.
A heartwarming video of the pair has been viewed two-and-a-half MILLION times.
Tracey Dixon, of The Mare and Foal Sanctuary in Holsworthy, Devon, said: “We couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come. He’s really thriving.
"Eventually, when he's ready, we'll look for a new home for him."
Breeze was found by farmers and taken to a sanctuary.
The three-year-old is set to star in his very own calendar shoot.
It follows our story about pets who still play with their old toys.
