From cars and laptops to dogs and horses, children certainly known how to do some damage

SMALL children can turn into whirlwinds of destruction and disaster the moment you back is turned.

So every parent has had that moment when you walk in the room to find the new sofa covered in paint or scribbles up the wall.

For mum Julie Haas Brophy, the experience led to her setting up a website called S*** My Kids Ruined, where parents post pictures of the carnage created by their little darlings.

Julie launched the site – described as ‘the best birth control on the market’ – after finding her youngest son had spilled “a quart of black paint on our dining room rug.”

She added: “The covered paint can was out for a project I’d planned for the 2 hours my boys were about to spend at nursery school. Leaving the can within his reach was a regrettable parenting mistake if ever there were one!  I alley-ooped, and the little guy slam-dunked it.  Live and learn.”

The hilarious website is billed as a “pictorial tribute to the filthy. distasteful, gross, painful yet hilarious moments of parenthood, and the children who make it all possible.”

You’ve got to feel the pain of these parents.
