More trick less treat

Man comes up with a hilarious way to prank kids on Halloween by giving them Brussels sprouts covered in chocolate

A MAN, who apparently doesn't enjoy the custom of trick or treating, has come up with an ingeniously evil way to prank kids on Halloween.

Mark Sparrow, a UK based photographer and technology writer, shared his plan about how to give trick or treaters a taste of both in a cruel prank.

He suggested to his followers that they should hand out chocolate covered Brussels sprouts and his idea has spread like wildfire.

Mark's posted his tweet just two days ago and it has already gained a lot of attention, with over 8,700 other users retweeting it and over 11,000 liking.

However, not everyone thought the suggestion was a funny one, with some people going as far to say he had no soul.

The controversy all started with a simple picture of what looks like a chocolate covered sweet positioned next to a Brussels spout cut in half.

He captioned the tweet: "It'll soon be Halloween, so time to prepare some yummy treats for the neighbourhood kids. Try dipping Brussels sprouts in chocolate for them."

A few users went a step further with the prank and suggested putting the chocolate covered sprouts in Ferrero Rocher wrappers.

While another showed people how to make chocolate covered onions look just like a set of toffee apples.

One user who was keen to try the idea wrote : "'Just my kind of evil. *rubs hands together gleefully*'."

While another commented:  "perfect  can't wait to try this... Maybe some olives too"

But some didn't seem like the suggestion, with one tweeting: "That's so mean" and someone else writing: "HAVE YOU NO SOUL?"
