I’m A Celebrity is back…and people are complaining there are no posh or crazy people on it this year
THE new series of I’m a Celebrity kicked off on Sunday night and the contestants are getting on well.
Too well, according to some viewers.
It seems fans are not happy that the current jungle dwellers are all "a bit too nice," and some are calling for the return of Bushtucker legend Lady Colin Campbell.
In the first episode the celebrities put on a good show, being friendly, co-operative and having a laugh.
One fan took to Facebook to say: "Really enjoyed the first night, and they seemed not a bad crowd. No-one to dislike at this stage."
Celebrities with certain traits tend to go into the jungle every year (glamour girl, the lad, the boy-band casualty etc) and fans of the show noticed that the most interesting celebrity character is missing - the "posh and crazy" one.
One fan said: “We’re missing an eccentric posh person this year.”
Many people agreed, with one replying, another replied: “I said earlier there’s no weirdo this year.”
While another piped up: “Yet…” in response.
There’s a long history of eccentric celebrities losing it in the jungle, with last year's contestant Lady C being the most controversial example.
The socialite divided everyone with her withering put-downs and epic one liners before she dramatically quit the show.
When she was asked to help wash up in one episode, she got out of the chore by ranting: “I have five tiaras and have turned down one of the richest men on earth.”
Other notorious contestants have included Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, Paul Burrell , David Emmanuel and Gillian McKeith.
