Alien bases
NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter has been the source of many gems, as far as conspiracy theorists are concerned.
One even claimed that this clip is proof that aliens have established a "base" on the Moon's surface, which may also function "as a space craft if necessary."
An antenna
One of the strangest spots involves an alleged "alien antenna", which a UFO hunter clocked whilst trawling through NASA footage.
He told the Sun Online: “I think this finding could be the antenna of an underground alien base, because there is a plateau under the spike."
A missile
One conspiracy theorist claimed to spot a missile-shaped spacecraft in footage from the legendary Apollo 11 space mission, which was manned by the first men on the moon.
The footage recently resurfaced online, where UFO hunters claimed the object may even be a NASA craft on a secret reconnaissance mission.

Whilst some of these claims are verging on the ridiculous, it's really not all that far fetched to believe that aliens are lurking somewhere in our Solar System.
