McDonald’s have sneakily left the Festive Pie off its Christmas menu and people aren’t happy
The Chocolate Banoffee Pie replacement is just not cutting the custard
THERE was much excitement this weekend as McDonald’s unveiled its Christmas menu
But in all the talk of Terry’s Chocolate Orange McFlurry, there was a festive favourite omission that they sneaked under the radar.
The hot Festive Pie – with mincemeat and custard – has been dropped from the menu.
Instead it has been replaced with the delicious but positively unChristmassy dessert of Chocolate Banoffee pie.
Needless to say, the fast foodies are not happy.
One outraged customer tweeted: “@McDonaldsUK - no festive pie for Christmas.... are you mad that's like a Christmas without pigs in blankets.”
Jake Robbo tweeted: “Just heard that McDonald’s have dropped the Festive Pie?! Higher than usual levels of f***ery going on.”
Rhoda Reid added: “Where is the festive pie @McDonalds?”
