The things you need to avoid this Black Friday

BLACK Friday deals are whipping shoppers into a frenzy but many see the shopping bonanza weekend as a chance to exploit others.
Here's what to look out for:
1. Bogus deals A survey following Black Friday 2015 showed that only 51 per cent of the products were cheapest on Black Friday itself, with the remainder cheaper before or after the day.
Be sure to use a comparison site like Idealo to check competitors and look back at the price history of the item.
2. Fake electricals One in six Brits have bought a fake electrical item as a present.
Phoney goods have a high risk of exploding or bursting into flames.
To stay safe buy electricals from trusted retailers.
3. Fraud About 15 million Brits run the risk of getting caught out by scammers flogging goods on unsecured websites as they search for bargains this Black Friday.
To protect your financial details check retailers are genuine and look for the padlock symbol on the address bar as a sign that payment will be processed securely.
For an extra level of protection pay with a credit card.
4. Fake designer goods Criminals are making a fortune flogging must-have designer gear including Michael Kors bags and Ralph Lauren shirts on social media- and they're expected to target Black Friday shoppers with price cuts.
But, these products can be poor quality and even dangerous.
