Here are the top 10 most expensive cities in the world
One British city features on the list
LONDON is the sixth most expensive city in the world, according to a new report.
A Worldwide Cost of Living report for 2016 ranked 140 of the world’s cities and evaluated how expensive they were to live in.
The study took into account a range of different factors, such as living wage, inflation and the cost of essential items.
Research, carried out by the Economist Intelligence Unit, revealed that Singapore topped the list, followed by Zurich and Hong Kong falling in close behind.

The report also looked at the cheapest cities in the world, which they believe to be Lusaka, Zambia.
Indian cities Bangalore and Mumbai placed second and third in the least expensive list.
