Real life Prince Charming proposes to his Cinderella girlfriend at Disneyland… and even has a glass slipper
The cute moment was caught on camera
THIS woman’s fairytale dreams have finally come true – as her Prince Charming swept her off her feet with an adorable Disney marriage proposal.
After taking his girlfriend to the theme park in Los Angeles, Chris Cole used a real glass slipper to ask his partner Courtney to be his wife.
Loved-up couple Chris and Courtney met five years ago at a Halloween party.
The pair seemed to appreciate each other’s costumes, with Chris channelling his inner Indiana Jones and Courtney dressing as a bunny.
Their love of all things childlike was shared from the get go, as the pair ditched the alcohol in favour of sharing a picture of skittles.
Remembering the cute moment, Courtney said: “We talked all night and then he asked to take a picture with me and send it to me on his phone so I gave him my number.
“And the rest is history.”
On the four years anniversary of when they met, the happy duo booked a trip to Disneyland to mark the occasion.
As it was Halloween, Chris and Courtney decided to go to the park dressed up as their favourite characters, Prince Charming and Cinderella.
When they were walking around the park, Chris told his girlfriend to close her eyes and make a wish.
Courtney opened her eyes and was handed a real glass slipper by her boyfriend’s brother.
She recalled: “He said to me: ‘I’m here to present Cinderella with her glass slipper.’”
And the surprises didn’t stop there.
Hiding beneath the glass slipper was a small box containing an engagement ring.
Delighted Courtney explained: “I was in complete shock and speechless. Chris grabbed the ring and got down on one knee.
“It’s safe to say all my dreams came true that day. I had never felt more like a princess and it was such a magical moment.”
The elaborate proposal was a success, as Courtney’s family and friends were all there to celebrate the romantic time with the newly-engaged couple.
Thankfully, there was someone on hand to take pictures and videos of the life-changing moment.
When a video of the Disneyland trip was posted to the How He Asked Facebook page earlier this week, hundreds of internet users were blown away by Chris’ thoughtful proposal.
One social media user said: “Now this is a proposal!!! Love it!!”
Another agreed: “Now that is a real life fairytale! I hope they live happily ever after.”
