From ‘funerals’ in Ireland to ‘prostitutes’ in Brazil, this incredible map of the world reveals the most Googled term for each country
The world's search habits have been exposed by Fixr.com - and there are some surprising results

A FASCINATING map has revealed the most-searched-for terms on Google in every country throughout the world.
It will come as no surprise that people want to know how much croissants are in France and the cost of a BMW in Germany, but many other findings by cost comparison website Fixr.com are far more surprising.
Japanese searchers are after the perfectly priced watermelon, while Canadians are worried about the cost of a passport. Searchers in the US are looking to find out about the cost of a patent.
The maps were put together by using the autocomplete formula in Google of, ‘How much does [X object] cost in [X country].
Speaking about the research, the company said: "Looking at some of the most popular Google searches throughout the world reveals some cultural differences, but also many key similarities.
"It also provides insights into the sometimes-strange things people think about when they are alone."
For Europe, the search seems to be more focused on practical every day things: the cost to live in the UK, the cost of food in Spain and the cost of a funeral in Ireland.
It's a more upmarket affair in Germany and Switzerland, where the top searches are BMWs and Rolex respectively; most likely as these are country the luxury goods are produced in.
For Belgium and Iceland, the cost of beer is the biggest concern.
For Australian google users, the price of IVF is the most important question, while in contradiction the cost of a vasectomy is the biggest question in New Zealand.
Elsewhere, there are some stranger requests. In Brazil, Hong Kong, Ukraine and Latvia the biggest concern is the cost of a prostitute, while South Koreans are desperate to know the cost of Rhinoplasy.
In South America, prostitutes, beer and coke are among the biggest searches, along with the cost to live, funerals and the price of a gallon of gas. In Mexico, the biggest search was the price of a tummy tuck.
Meanwhile, in Russia, people want to know the cost of a MIG aircraft.
Searches in Asia focused on everyday goods, with animals, food and electronics all cropping up.
