Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West getting divorced? Rumours and latest – here’s what we know
KIM Kardashian is planning to file for divorce from her husband Kanye West, according to new reports.
The couple, who married in May 2014, have two kids together - called North, three, and one-year-old Saint West.
But recent difficulties are thought to have brought the relationship to breaking point.
Here we tell you everything you need to know about Kim and Kanye's predicted split.
What are the rumours around Kim Kardashian and Kanye West getting a divorce?
The gossip started when Kanye, 39, was taken to a psychiatric hospital on November 21.
The shocking development happened just hours after the rapper cancelled his Saint Pablo tour following an epic on-stage rant.
It has been widely reported that Kanye had a 'breakdown', brought on by the nine-year anniversary of his beloved mother Donda's death and Kim's Paris robbery trauma, which step-brother Hal Carmichael claims made him fear for his life.
Dutiful Kim, 36, remained at Kanye's bedside until Thursday 24 November, when she reportedly left to celebrate Thanksgiving with her family.
But now have revealed that she is planning to file for divorce.
According to the popular American magazine, a source has said Kim feels 'trapped' in her marriage - and is looking for a way out, when the time is right.
The friend of the Kardashians reportedly said: “She’s being a supportive wife.
“She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he’s getting the help he needs but she’s felt trapped for a while.
“It will take some time before she can do anything. She doesn’t want to stay married.”
Tensions between the pair are also thought to be heightened by the seemingly never-ending renovations on their Hidden Hills estate.
The couple have already spent £6.4 million doing their house up, and are yet to spend a night there.
When did the divorce rumours start?
There's been much speculation that the couple are experiencing martial difficulties, ever since reports broke that the rapper is living apart from his wife and kids.
Kanye is currently receiving outpatient care following his 10-day stint in UCLA Medical Center, in LA.
A source told magazine on December 3: “Kim is being very protective and doesn’t want Kanye around the kids right now.
“Kanye’s behaviour took a huge toll on their marriage. But Kim feels relieved he is getting the help he needs.
“She thinks this is what it will take to save him — and help their marriage.”
Kanye's doctor was warned to keep the rapper away from any weapons by a 911 operator as he called for an ambulance, it is believed.
On audio footage, , he is heard saying: "Can you keep an eye on him... Don't let him get any weapons or anything like that.
"If anything changes between now and the police arriving please give us a call back."
However, Kanye did attend his son Saint's 'low-key' first birthday party, hosted by wife Kim, on December 2.
Her sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, and half-sister Kylie Jenner, were all at the party.
