J.K. Rowling reveals her favourite ‘Harry Potter’ moment – but is it the same as yours?

WITH seven novels and eight films, picking your best Harry Potter moment is no mean feat.

But author J.K. Rowling has revealed her favourite scene from the hugely successful franchise.

The Gloucestershire-born writer, who has become a multi-millionaire ever since she wrote the fantasy novel series, let slip her most-loved exchange on Twitter.

The admission came when 51-year-old J.K. replied to a tweet sent by award-winning American writer and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda, who is best known for creating and starring in the Broadway musicals Hamilton and In the Heights.

The musical theatre star had started a thread on his own Twitter page, discussing the pop culture events that have left their biggest mark on him.

Introducing the thread, Miranda tweeted: "POP CULTURE EVENTS FROM WHICH I HAVE STILL NOT RECOVERED, MANY YEARS LATER: A thread by Lin-Manuel Miranda"

The playwright then listed several moments that has stayed with his, including the likes of Michael Jackson, David Bowie and Shakira, before moving on to Harry Potter.

He wrote, while tagging J.K. in the tweet: "THIS MOMENT, @jk_rowling: "I am not worried, Harry," said Dumbledore, his voice a little stronger despite the freezing water. "I am with you."

To the amazement of the Twitter-verse, J.K. replied to his tweet, and admitted it was also one of her top moments in all of the Potter books.

She also said that she felt her sixth novel, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, written in 2005 and of which the quote in question is from, gets "overshadowed" by her last and final Harry Potter novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, written in 2007.

J.K. wrote: "Cannot tell you what this means (from you), because this moment is one of my very favourites.

"Always feel HBP gets overshadowed by DH..."

The Potter universe is still going strong despite the final Harry Potter book being written in 2007.

The final Harry Potter film from the globally-successful series was released in 2011, and more recently a new film in the Potter world (based on J.K.'s 2001 book) called Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is currently showing in UK cinemas.

A West End stage play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, has been playing out to packed audiences since the end of July at the Palace Theatre in central London.

The story is set 19 years after the end of the final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and tells the story of Harry's adult life with his youngest son Albus.
