UBER drivers have been getting a bad rep over the last couple of years.

But a cabbie  from LA is single-handedly trying to improve their image by bringing a whole load of festive cheer to his passengers.

Jonathan filmed every performance with a range of passengers, from drunk homeward-bound adults to mums travelling with their kids, and uploaded them to his YouTube channel.

While Jonathan wears an elf hat and a Christmas sweater throughout filming, his customers are also given a wide range of props to choose from.

They include a reindeer hat, a Santa Claus hat and several pairs of maracas for the acoustic support.

At the beginning, some of the passengers appear a little apprehensive about the musical task, but by the end they are all singing at full volume to the track, even if they don’t know the words.

Speaking about his reasons for making the films, Jonathan said: ‘I want to bring others together so they can share an incredible experience that the world can look back and say, "now that... was fun!”’
