Parents outraged as children’s prized Hatchimals appear to SWEAR ‘while they sleep’
The must-have Christmas toy, which sold out at retailers across the country, has been captured on camera uttering 'profanities'
HATCHIMALS were the must-have toy this Christmas, with millions of parents frantically trying to buy one for their kids as they rapidly sold out across the country.
But now some mums and dads are starting to wonder whether the cute, colourful penguin-like creatures have a dark side.
Several parents are claiming their Hatchimals SWEAR at them, specifically spouting the words "f**k me".
Sarah and Nick Galego, from Victoria, Canada, bought the toy for their six-year-old son for Christmas.
But as it hatched from its egg, the couple claim they heard it mutter the rude words and caught the crucial moment on camera.
Nick told : "I'm pretty sure it says 'F**k me'."
Sarah said: "If (our son) was a little bit older we might be more offended about it", adding that they won't be returning the toy as her little boy loves it and doesn't associate the sounds with the profanity.
Since their video appeared online, several more parents have uploaded their own in which the electronic creatures appear to curse.
