The 1926 George V sovereign Sydney mint may have originally been worth just £1, but now could fetch over £30,000 – thanks to low mintage.
The coin was made even rarer during WWI, as the British government requested that the public hand their sovereigns in to be melted down to help finance the war effort.
In return, those who handed in their coins were given banknotes.
According to auction house , valuations for the remaining coins can range from £8,500 to £37,500 - depending on the condition.
