People are convinced this Belle from Beauty and the Beast children’s doll looks just like Justin Bieber
The bizarre toy has very little resemblance to Emma Watson, who plays the Disney princess in the upcoming film
DISNEY fans are up in arms over a doll intended to look like Emma Watson as Belle in Beauty and the Beast - because it resembles Justin Bieber.
While the toy has the character's long brown hair and iconic yellow ball gown, the facial features of the doll look nothing like the Harry Potter actress.
Lovers of the timeless Disney classic are eagerly anticipating the release of the live action remake in March, which will showcase Emma Watson's singing voice for the first time.
But this doll, made by the Disney Store company, looks nothing like the pretty Hollywood actress, with its long face and giant forehead.
Images of the doll, taken by teacher William Herrington, from Colorado, were shared on on Friday.
He told this doll is a "less glamorous" version distributed by US store J.C. Penny, but it is not currently available to view on their website.
William explained: "Most of the Film Collection dolls don't look 100 per cent like the actors they are portraying, but they usually do have defining features.
"I don't know what happened with this doll, but any resemblance to Emma just went out the window! She looks almost nothing like the talented, beautiful woman she's supposed to portray."
Several equally confused Beauty and the Beast fans took to Twitter to express their disapproval.
While many pointed out it looked more like the Beauty and the Beat singer than Emma, others compared the doll to US President Barack Obama and "a mix of Lord Farquaad (from Shrek) and the Queen of Hearts".
