SNAP DECISION

Hilarious photo fails prove even well-planned snaps can go disastrously wrong

From a headless penguin to a yawning horse, these comical shots have been submitted for a photo fails competition

THESE hilarious photo fails show that even the most carefully planned pictures can go wrong, but can result in a priceless shot.

A headless penguin, puking baby or yawning horses may not usually make the family photo album - but they have all been submitted to a competition searching for the funniest photo fails.

The competition has been launched by online photo and gift retailer Printerpix, who have been delighted with some of the submissions.

Some of their favourites include an image of a girl with a 'huge head' on her little sister's headless doll on a beach in Norfolk.

Others that have been shortlisted to win the competition include a family who were terrified by a T-Rex at Universal Studios, as it lurched forwards and growled.

These images aren't the only funny shots to have been taken accidentally.

Earlier this week a series of perfectly-timed photographs showed that simply being in the right place at the right time is enough to get a hilarious picture.

We previously shared images of mums who uploaded perfectly timed photos of their furious toddlers in the midst of their tiresome tantrums.

And this series of snaps captures the most outlandish plane passengers ever, from a man in a plastic bag to a panda.
