This McDonald’s maths puzzle is baffling Facebook – but are YOU smart enough to solve it?
A FIENDISHLY tricky test will make your tastebuds tingle and your brain hurt.
Over 1.4 thousand people have attempted to solve this McDonald’s-themed maths puzzle – but can YOU find the answer?
The first line of the challenge shows that three McDonald’s drinks add to a value of 30.
Next, two burgers and one drink are shown to total 20.
The final clue shows that four portions of fries and one burger add up to 9.
But can you work out how much the fourth line of orders is worth?
Challengers must total one burger and one portion of fries before multiplying it with the value of one drink.
Many quizzers didn’t notice that one of the portions of chips had been removed in the fourth line.
Others mixed up when they should multiply the figures together.
But did YOU find the right answer?
The maths whizzes among you would have come up with the number 15.
And here’s how you work it out…
10+10+10=30
10+5+5=20
5+2+2=9
5+1×10=15
It's not the only mind-blogging maths test to take the internet by storm in recent months.
Earlier this month, Parents struggled to solve this incredibly tricky maths question that is designed for SIX-YEAR-OLDS.
Another riddle asked challengers to tally the price of beers and burgers.
