EastEnders star Tilly Keeper reveals secrets of her feminine rock and roll style

TILLY KEEPER is usually seen in school uniform in her EastEnders role as Walford’s resident tearaway teen Louise Mitchell.

So she loves showing off her flair for fashion when she’s hanging out with her mates and going to showbiz bashes.

Here Tilly, 19, reveals her fashion secrets . . .

What are your favourite shops?

I’m so busy I do most of my shopping online now. My favourite labels are All Saints and Zadig & Voltaire.

What about shoes?

It’s embarrassing, I have flat feet so I really struggle to find shoes. I always go for Chelsea boots. Topshop do good heeled boots.

I like Russell & Bromley too. I collect Chelsea boots, I have a pair in every colour. I’m scared to admit it, I’m verging on 20 pairs.

What are we most likely to find you wearing?

See me at work and I’m probably in a warm jumper and jeans.

If I’m out with my mates then most of the time I’m wearing a leather jacket, a printed shirt and ripped jeans. And a pair of Chelsea boots.

Do you have a favourite scent?

I wear Chloe’s Love Story. I used to wear La Perouse by Gilly Hicks but they stopped making it. It was my signature scent.

How would you describe your style?

Rock and roll but still feminine. I really like Zoe Ball and Fearne Cotton. I really like that funky, rock-chick look.

How does your style differ from your character Louise’s?

I’m 19, almost 20. I just dress my age and Louise dresses hers. Though Louise is very girly and wears a lot of pink. She likes clashing bold patterns – in her head she’s cool enough to pull any look off.

How would you describe your fashion ethos?

I like to go for things that I think not many people will have. I hate the idea of being the same as everyone else, I like to have a bit of originality. I’d hate people to be able to guess where my clothes are from and buy the same look.

What was the last item of clothing you bought?

I bought this dress from Topshop which was on the last-chance-to-buy rail. It’s kind of midi-length, black and embroidered with mini stars and has orangey red roses on the shoulder.

Do you like new or vintage clothes?

I’ve got a few vintage bits, I find it really hard to go vintage shopping. I just think oh it’s in the past, I’ll leave it.

What’s your favourite item of clothing?

My leather jacket or my leopard-print coat. It’s furry. I got it because Kate Moss has one.
