KFC launch the Chizza… a pizza with a FRIED CHICKEN base

FAST food fans have been sent into a frenzy over KFC’s exciting new menu item.

The Chizza combines two mealtime favourites in one tasty dish - pizza with a fried chicken base.

KFC has revealed that the "all chicken, no crust" pizza is made from "100% mozzarella cheese, sauce made from California tomatoes (and) 100% chicken fillet".

The crispy base is then topped with cheese sauce, chicken and pineapple.

Since KFC's official announcement that the Chizza launched in Singapore on Tuesday, people can’t contain their excitement.

One Twitter user reacted: “Pizza on a fried chicken base. All of my dreams have come true.”

Another added: “The base of this pizza is fried chicken !?! see, the world is full of great things."

British chicken lovers are already calling on the popular fast food chain to bring the new menu item to the UK.

One said: “Just saw a picture of something amazing a KFC Chizza pizza with fried chicken instead of a dough base I need this in my life.”

The Sun contacted KFC to ask if there are plans to roll out the Chizza in the UK,.

A spokesperson said: “We’re always looking to introduce delicious new products to our menu, and are really excited about the incredible response Chizza has received around the world. Keep your eyes peeled!”

Despite all of the hype, the new launch has proven disappointing for some customers.

One branded the Chizza as “pathetic”, while another added: “Chizza rating 7/10. They say expectation leads to disappointment”.

It’s not the first time that brands have disappointed their customers by not giving them the end product they expected.
