Travellers are sharing hilarious road trip games that will make half-term travel more bearable

Half-term is coming up, which means plenty of long car journeys while families head off on holiday.

But thankfully, seasoned travellers have been pooling their favourite car games online that will stop fraught mums and dads losing their minds with the continuous “are we there yet” questions.

The hashtag #LesserKnownRoadTripGames has been getting hundreds of mentions on social media as people share their suggestions.

While some are clearly tongue-in-cheek like the suggestion by ‏@ThePublicGadfly for “No Bathroom Breaks Russian Roulette,” others like “spot the fighting couples in the cars,” could actually waste a decent amount of time in a slow-moving traffic jam.

Some of the games could clearly be dangerous and not taken seriously, like the tip by @KasiaEmerald whjo suggested: “Who can undress and redress the fastest while the car is in motion.”

Others are likely to be fun for everyone in the car but the driver, like Keking Soliloquy’s game of “See how many times you can get the driver to stop so you can go pee.”
