Adele wins big at the Grammy’s…and all anyone can talk about is her weirdly bendy thumb
Last night was huge for the British songstress but some keen viewers noticed something a little odd on her hand…
LAST NIGHT stunning songstress Adele accepted no less than five awards at the 2017 GRAMMYs.
The Hello singer took home gongs for Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Record of the Year as well as becoming the first artist ever to score the coveted ‘hat-trick’ twice following her 2012 success.
She also won the Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance prizes, taking home each prize she was nominated for.
This morning there has been plenty of discussion about her emotional acceptance speech for Album of the Year, in which she shocked fans by announcing she didn’t deserve it.
The 28-year-old singer explained that Beyonce had been such an influence in her and her friends' lives that she felt the album Lemonade deserved the title.
The moving speech was greeted with rapturous applause but keen-eyed viewers were more distracted by Adele’s hands than her words.
As the singer gestured and moved her hand around her thumb bent all the way back to a right angle.
The thumb flex was then accentuated by her long acrylic nail which made the digit look unnatural in its bendy state.
Amazed viewers took to Twitter to express their dismay at this display of dexterity.
