A COUPLE who have hosted secret swingers parties in their village home for over a decade have given a candid insight into what happens at the ‘alternative lifestyle’ evenings.
Guests attend the X-rated events in fancy dress, enjoy a hot dog at ‘treat time’ and can indulge in sex with multiple people.
Steve and Maggie Chapman, from Larkfield near East Malling, launched the kinky ‘Pleasures in Kent’ club in 2005.
The nights began as a small group of friends, before morphing into a large gathering of up to 80 like-minded people.
Semi-retired Steve confessed wife Maggie doesn’t join in with the swinging aspect of the night, but enjoys the social element.
He told : "The numbers coming to our parties have always been good - we can have up to 50 people (25 couples) but this has increased to anywhere between to 35 to 40 couples.
"This is in respect of the fact that we are nice and clean and do stick to the rules.
"It's something my wife is not into but she supports me in doing it. She is in to the social side of it."
A typical night at the Chapmans usually revolves around a theme, such as Cowboys and Indians, lingerie or Easter bunnies, and lasts for seven hours.

The parties start at 8pm and continue until 3am – with an interlude at 12.30am when hungry guests are given hot dogs.
There are 14 play areas in the house, two Jacuzzi’s and a sauna. There is also an indoor swimming pool.
Many of the rooms are lit with red lighting, have artwork of nude women on the walls and contain leather furniture.
All areas have bins, paper towels and antibacterial sprays.
Swinging Sex Party Rules
- No trainers or jeans allowed; smart casual dress please. As sexy as you like for the ladies.
- No mobile phones or cameras are allowed on the premises.
- Have respect for other people and property as we would like to maintain our very high standards of cleanliness.
- Please only use designated smoking areas and please use the ashtrays provided, not the floor or decking.
- Treat everyone with respect and remember to enjoy and not annoy. Please do not voice your opinions on other people. Everyone is there to enjoy.
- Getting hot and sticky is part of the fun, but please not with chewing gum.
- No sex in the jacuzzis. They are a place to relax and the rooms are for playing. If you are caught you will be asked to leave.
- Although the house and grounds are secluded, noise travels great distances, so please remember this when leaving the venue.
- Be respectful and non-judgemental of others' fantasies.
- Always ask before joining in with others. Do not assume they will say yes and they will respect you for your patience.
- Please remember this is our house and treat it with respect.
Guests are allowed to bring their own booze. But drunken behaviour and drugs are forbidden.
Couples, single males and single females are all welcome to attend although some nights are couples or single female nights only. Men must be aged 25 and over.
Steve said some couples prefer to stay with one another while others will mingle with different people.
He believes many attend to help “spice up” their love lives.
Steve added: "We get regulars and new couples coming into the scene every week, they come along to see what is going on.
"Some couples do not play with others and prefer to be in the environment, some come and just watch to spice up their sex-life while others will go off with different people.”
The Chapmans issue all guests with a strict set of rules that they must abide by.
Having sex in the pool or hot tubs, abusing other guests or using a mobile phone is a big no-no.
The website states: “Pleasure prides itself on its friendliness, cleanliness and fun, and is considered by many to be the best house party in the south east (often copies, but never bettered).”
