New free postcode online lottery dishes out freebies including Nando’s and Pizza Express gift cards
You can win free food or money by signing up to a new online postcode lottery
FOOD fans will be pleased to hear of a new prize draw that gives people the chance to win free food every day, and there's no fee to sign up.
Prizes include £30 gift cards for Pizza Express and Nando’s, or just plain old cash - £20 to be exact.
Newly launched Win A Dinner works like other online lotteries, giving users the chance to sign up and wait for their name to be drawn.
Users must check the website each day after 4pm to see if they've won. If the winner fails to visit the site and collect their prize, the pot will be rolled over.
Unlike other lotteries most of the prizes are food related. As well as restaurant gift cards there's a three-month recipe box subscription from Simply Cook (worth £27) up for grabs.
Alternatively, users can choose either £20 PayPal credit (to spend as they like) or they can double their winnings to £40 if they donate them to charity.
There are currently more than 16,000 people signed up to the lottery, so although your chances of winning are relatively slim, they're higher than with bigger lottery sites, including Free Postcode Lottery - which is run by the same team as Win A Dinner - which has around 500,000 members signed up.
If you're wondering how these sites can afford to pay out to hundreds of people every year, they make money from advertising placed on the website - but you don't need to click on these adverts in order to win.
How do I sign up?
Go to the website and click the option "Feed Me", then sign up with your personal email address.
When you sign up, you’ll get a username and an avatar that you’ll need to look for on the site when checking to see if you've won, so make sure you remember it.
Once the draw has been made, the user with the winning ticket will able to collect the prize by clicking the "claim" button on the website, that will only appear for the winner.
Rules for signing up

- Players can only register once. You can only have one ticket and one email registered at one time
- Cash prizes will be made via Paypal, within 7 to 10 business days, or sooner. Other prizes will be paid out or delivered on a prize by prize basis.
Once you click the claim button you’ll be given the prize options, and will either receive a physical gift card or PayPal credit - depending on which you choose.
If a winner doesn't claim the prize within 24 hours it will rollover, meaning there will be an extra winner that gets a prize in the next draw the following day.
