The Disney Explorers Lodge has four gardens based on famous characters from Disney and Pixar films
Disney’s new explorer-themed hotel at their Hong Kong Resort is gearing up for its big opening on April 30.
The Disney Explorers Lodge is now taking summer bookings for its 750 hotel rooms, each with a view of the sea or one of the four themed gardens.
Situated in the four wings of the hotel, the gardens are all named after characters from Disney and Pixar films.
Kevin Garden, which has a South American theme, is named after the giant bird in Up, and the Little Squirt Garden of Oceania is based on the sea turtle from Finding Nemo.
The Asian-themed Hathi Jr. Garden is named after the baby elephant from The Jungle Book and the Rafiki Garden, which has an African Savannah theme, is named after the mandrill from The Lion King.
Guests can also pay a visit to the Dreamer’s Spring or take a dip in the outdoor Rain Drop Pool.
