Primark’s £4 Beauty and the Beast Chip purse has SOLD OUT… and is selling for five times the price on eBay
You're going to need a magic spell to get your hands on this Disney purse
FORGET Frozen’s Queen Elsa costume - now it’s a Beauty and the Beast purse that has become the holy grail for parents desperate to make their children’s dreams come true.
Primark’s £4 Chip pouch has sold out in stores across Britain, and frantic mums have been paying up to five times the price on eBay to get their hands on the elusive Disney memorabilia.
The adorably cute purse has been selling for up to £20 on the online auction site.
The brilliantly impractical coin holder comes in the shape of the famous tea cup, features a zip fastening around the rim and a gold handle.
The must-have item has sparked a frenzy online with one Disney-obsessive dubbing the craze "Chipgate".
Taking to Twitter, a user called 'Heids.' commented: “This Primark Chip Purse thing really needs to be called Chipgate, all this over a £4 purse.”

Meanwhile, Emma Watson looked pretty as a princess as she stepped out to attend the LA premiere of the forthcoming Beauty and the Beast movie.
The 26-year-old actress – who plays the lead role of Belle in the live action version of the animated classic – looked stunning as she joined her co-stars Dan Stevens, Luke Evans and Josh Gad.
As a dedicated feminist and activist, Emma has been forced to defend the classic fairy tale’s storyline – after some accused it of being about someone with Stockholm Syndrome.
However, Emma rubbished the claims and told Entertainment Weekly: “Belle actively argues and disagrees with him constantly.”
She added: “She has none of the characteristics of someone with Stockholm syndrome because she keeps her independence; she keeps that freedom of thought.”
