This fussy McDonald’s customer made the oddest request ever… and here’s what he got
He ordered the 99p cheeseburger... but decided to ditch quite a few of the fillings
ANYONE who's ever worked in a restaurant knows that fussy customers sometimes make odd requests.
When it comes to burgers, lots of people don't like gherkins, while lots of joints receive requests for gluten free buns and other changes.
However, this lad decided to take things one step further when he ordered on the self-service machine at his local McDonald's.
Twitter user coL_Merchant requested for his cheeseburger to come without onion, ketchup, mustard and pickles.
Nothing too odd there, you say? Well Merchant decided to take things one step further - and asked Maccies staff to ditch the burger bun and beef patty too.
Bemused McDonald's staff stuck to his order - and served Merchant up a slice of unappetising looking burger cheese. Yum!
Merchant posted the picture on Twitter, where he wrote: "I ordered a cheese. Not sure what I expected."
In just two days, the post has gone viral - racking up 37,000 likes and 23,000 re-tweets.
Merchant paid 99p, the price of an entire cheeseburger, for that one slice of the yellow stuff.
