Disney princess bikinis allow die-hard fans to transform into their favourite characters

DISNEY lovers everywhere will soon be able to dress up as the iconic princesses when they hit the pool.

It may sound strange, but a new range of Disney themed bikinis is doing the rounds on the web and the designs may very soon reach a shop near you.

The storytale swimwear brand, called Enchanted Bikinis has been inspired by Disney’s favourite female leads, and is available online at .

The San Diego based company, who are not affiliated with Disney itself, is hoping to brighten the lives of wannabe princess everywhere by bringing their designs to the public.

Ranging in size from small through to XL the unique line will include both high-waisted and low-waisted bikini bottom options - and cup sizes A through to DD.

All tops include supportive moulded cups with underwire and strapless option for those who don’t want strap lines.

Sina Fatone, designer of Enchanted Bikinis, told: “I was looking for a bathing suit that would give me that princess look, but I couldn’t really find any, so I started thinking how would a princess inspired bikini really look like.”

The range includes The Romantic — inspired by Belle from “Beauty and the Beast — and The Candy Apple, a homage to the fairest in the land, Snow White.

Sina added, that like many little girls, she always wanted to be a princess.

She added: “I related a lot to storybook characters because I grew up with them, and when I was little, my mum always read us fairy tales.

“My dad would sew dresses for my sister and I.”

Sina designs all of her swimwear suits in California before sending her sketches to her parents who are based in France.

She adds: “My parents have been a big part of this project through their support and sewing skills.”

So whether Rapunzel is your long-haired inspiration, or you want to be the fairest of them all just like Snow White, any adult can bring out their inner princess.
