Sassy Freddy stands up to the social media bullies
BEING TROLLED has somehow become part and parcel of being in the public-eye, especially for the YouTube stars who made their names on social media.
But stunning vlogger Freddy Cousin-Brown is not taking it lying down, and confronted her bullies head on in a feisty tweet.
Writing to her 50,000 followers the YouTube star defiantly announced that she would address nasty comments written on her channel.
She said: “If you're going to write crap on my channel, be prepared for me to write a forceful response & don't get upset if I do.”
Before ending with the statement: “I'm not a punchbag.”
Fashion vlogger Freddy didn’t confirm which comment(s) she was referring to but shortly before the gutsy tweet was posted an unfriendly message appeared on the .
One viewer wrote: “I can imagine you being like Regina George from Mean Girls in real life.”
The commenter referred to the villainous character from the 2004 teen movie, in which Regina was famed for her selfish, b****y attitude towards her friends.
Shocked by the hurtful judgement Freddy replied: “Really? I don’t think I give that impression whatsoever!”
The viewer then responded: “Regina George gave the impression of being a nice girl too, lol. Sorry, just my opinion.”
Twitter users supported Freddy’s sudden show of strength.
One said: “I actually love how you have the courage to knock the haters down rather than let them knock you down.”
