The 17-year-old YouTube sensation gathered the epic amount of food in an attempt to create the unique super-sized meal.

In the video, uploaded to , he said: “So today we are making a massive burger.

“What we did is we went through the drive through and I spent… I don’t know how much I spent.

“We have 10 of these burgers [big tasties] and then we have 50 Big Macs.

“So what we are doing is we are going to take the burgers apart and we are going to make one massive burger and see what it looks like.”

Well vlogger Jake may not have kept his receipt and checked his change but we’ve done a bit of maths and ten Big Tasties at £4.09 each would cost £40.90 and with Big Macs at £2.99 a pop they will have totted up to £149.50.

So it’s likely the vlogger spent £190.40 on his McDonald’s haul.

The group discussed a strategy for assembling the tower and decided to put the Big Tasties with a wider diameter at the bottom of the pile to improve structural integrity.

From there they continued to build the burger tower using kebab skewers to prop up the meaty construction.

Despite their best efforts the burger quickly began to lean to one side so the diligent group decided to start again, this time removing the tomatoes which could be throwing the tower off kilter.

Unfortunately, the pile once again began to wobble so needed to be held up by hand and eventually just toppled into a fast food mess.

After the greasy attempt to create a McDonalds culinary creation, the YouTuber realised they wouldn’t be able to build the tower he dreamt of.

Jake said: “I think we’ve finished – I think we’ve done everything we can.”

It’s not the first time Jake has broken the bank at his local drive thru as earlier this month the YouTube star bought £434 worth of food from the chain to see if their Monopoly game was fixed.

Is it time we talked about the amount you spend in McDonald’s Jake?
