BEAUTY addicts are following a quick three-step method to rid their skin of blackheads.

"Gritting" is a pore-reducing trick, which is supposed to bring rough skin debris to the surface.

To exfoliate the face and draw out the blackheads, Reddit posters have recommended cleaning the skin with an oil-based cleanser.

After removing the residue, they advise applying a clay mask.
