Welcome to the Bufftas… our awards for the biggest stars who bared all for nude TV scenes this year
TELEVISION’S finest actors were out in force to celebrate the 2017 TV Baftas on Sunday.
A host of gongs were dished out, including awards for best drama series, entertainment performance and comedy programme.
But one very important category appears to have been overlooked.
Here, we bring you the 2017 Bufftas - our awards for the A-listers who bared all for nude TV scenes over the past 12 months.
From the best breasts to the most fearless full-frontal, these stars weren’t afraid to flash the flesh.
BEST SHOWER SCENE: Nicole Kidman, Big White Lies
Nicole Kidman bared more than just her Oscar-winning acting in Big Little Lies.
The 49-year-old Australian starlet went naked for a shower scene in the hit HBO series.
Also, in a previous episode, Nicole’s character Celeste stripped off to seduce her on-screen husband, played by Alexander Skarsgård, with an online sex show.
Lifting her silky blouse to reveal her slender figure, the red-head was seen flashing her breasts on webcam.
BEST FULL FRONTAL: Thandie Newton, Westworld
Thandie Newton left nothing to the imagination in Sky Atlantic’s Westworld.
The London-born actress, 44, played a robot brothel madam called Maeve in the American thriller series.
Thandie said she found stripping off more “empowering” than wearing a big flouncy corset dress.
She told The Sun: “I was more comfortable naked because the costume was the most potent objectification of a woman, with the boobs pushed right up, the tiny waist. It’s an invitation for sex.”
One memorable scene from the Wild West-themed show sees a nude Thandie sitting on a metal hospital-like table with her legs crossed.

BEST CHEST: Emilia Clarke, Game of Thrones
It’s a show well-known for nudity, but Emilia Clarke’s naked Game of Thrones scenes are some of the most memorable.
The 30-year-old, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, is seen emerging from a blazing wooden chamber, naked and triumphant, in one jaw-dropping still.
The London-born actress appeared to ooze confidence, however Emilia said filming required a bit of Dutch courage.
“All I needed was vodka and some flattering lighting and I was ready," she told . "It was a wonderful, strong moment I wanted to own, a real empowering, girl-power wow scene."
BEST BUM: Matt Smith, The Crown
Matt Smith gave viewers a cheeky peek at his derriere in racy scenes from Netflix’s The Crown.
The 34-year-old Northampton-born actor was seen rising from his bed as Prince Philip without any clothes on, before standing completely naked in his bedroom.
Speaking about his steamy naked scenes, he told : “That was actually the best bit of acting I did in the whole thing. No word of a lie, it’s my most truthful moment.”
Former Dr Who Matt claimed shooting in the nude stayed true to Prince Philip’s own preference, who is rumoured to sleep naked.
BEST SEX SCENE: Olivia Wilde, Vinyl
Olivia Wilde went fully naked for a raunchy sex scene in HBO’s Vinyl.
The 33-year-old actress plays Devon Finestra in the American drama series.
During the scene, Olivia sported a pubic wig – known as a merkin - to give the illusion that she had an untrimmed lady garden.
She wrote on Twitter: “Big thanks to my co-star, Molly Merkin, for working so closely with me on @vinylHBO last night. Couldn’t have done it without you, girl.”
Olivia joked on a US talk show that the “70s bush” made her “feel less naked” as “you’re wearing a little fur bikini”.
BEST TORSO: Alfie Allen, Game of Thrones
Alfie Allen sent fans into a frenzy after stripping off on Game of Thrones.
The 30-year-old Londoner, who plays Theon Greyjoy, said he "transformed" his physique with hardcore gym sessions before the scenes.
He told : "When something is immortalised in that way on screen you want to make sure you're looking your best. I have no shame in that.
"There is obviously a huge aspect of vanity in this career and I wanted to look good when I had these nude scenes going on."
BEST CAMEO: Orlando Bloom, Easy
Orlando Bloom filmed a steamy threesome as part of a one-off appearance in Netflix's Easy.
The 40-year-old got in the buff for a scene featuring stunning actresses Malin Ackerman and Kate Micucci.
Orlando was seen ripping off his jeans and showcasing his bottom in the racy clip.
In a press release for Easy, it is described as a “comedic look at the landscape of modern relationships", featuring "a husband and wife reigniting their sex life with gender-defining role play".
BOLDEST SCENE: Evan Rachel Wood, Westworld
Evan Rachel Wood appeared in a very daring state of undress in HBO's Westworld.
Sitting on a chair as robot host Delores, the 29-year-old bares all while being examined by a character played by Luke Hemsworth.
The actress is seen completely nude, with a perfectly placed hand to protect her modesty.
