HAVE you ever noticed that celebrities seem to wear shoes that are far too big for them?
Hollywood stars are often papped gracing the red carpet wearing heels far longer or wider than their feet – but it turns out there may be a very good reason why.
According to , wearing oversized shoes will help prevent celebs experiencing blisters and stop their feet from swelling.
Celebrities often have to wear high heels for hours on end and there’s nothing glamorous about swollen, painful feet – hence wearing shoes that are at least one size too big for them.
Apparently, larger-sized heels won’t rub or pinch and the shoes are kept from slipping off the feet by stylists inserting silicone pads or double-sided tape inside the pumps.

Sun Fashion's Siobhan O'Connor says:
"GOING up a size may seem like a good idea to stop shoes rubbing, but it could leave you at risk of breaking an ankle.
"And for celebrities, I highly doubt this is a thought out plan.
