The new questions are designed to be more parent-friendly and really test maths fans

MATHS fans are set to be really tested on their skills after 1,000 new tougher questions have been added to the worldwide Mathletics programme.

The programme was first created in Australia in 2006 but has now spread across the globe and many kids in the UK also take part.

And the company behind Mathletics, 3P Learning say they have improved the course by adding harder questions that are more “parent friendly”.

To complete the questions, kids are allowed to use a calculator and they are designed for youngsters up to the ages of 18.
