The Chase is slammed for airing an OLD episode as fans joke host Bradley Walsh ‘looks a lot younger’

THE Chase viewers were left outraged today after ITV aired an old episode.

Fans took to Twitter to vent their dismay, and joked they only realised it was a rerun as host “looks a lot younger than normal”.

@calder_anthony uploaded an image of the TV magazine listings and commented: “It’s listed as a repeat! #TheChase.”

@snakecharmer888 moaned: “Repeat why? .. What happened hell to the new series? #thechase”, while Oopsydaisy2 wrote: “This episode of #TheChase is a repeat ain’t it?!”

@MexicanSivvy joked: “#TheChase you can tell this is a repeat of the chase because they are getting more than 4 questions right in the cashbuilder.”

The Chase confirmed the programme was a repeat, writing on Twitter: “Good news! A classic episode of #TheChase is on today at 5pm! We are taking a break for the rest of the week and will be back on Monday!”

The episode saw contestant Dom insult Chaser Anne Hegerty by saying she was the “most beatable” quiz brain.

Last week, fans of The Chase tore into professional quizzer Jenny Ryan after she fluffed some early questions.

A separate episode saw viewers mock a “thick” maths teacher’s teeth – with many saying he should be on Jeremy Kyle.
