Bridesmaid sheds seven stone after being told she was too fat to fit into a dress for her brother’s wedding
Chloe Longstaff vowed ditch her favourite fast foods when she was told a gown would have to be specially adjusted to accommodate her 17 stone frame
A PIZZA-LOVING bridesmaid who was mortified to be told she was too fat to fit into a dress for her brother's wedding has shed seven stone.
Chloe Longstaff vowed to change her ways and ditch her favourite fast foods when she was told a gown would have to be specially adjusted to accommodate her 17 stone frame.
Seeing herself standing next to the other much slimmer bridemaids in the wedding photos further shamed her into dropping from a dress size 16-18 to a svelte 10-12.
Now she weighs 10st 8lb - more than seven stone lighter than her heaviest weight of 17st 9lb.
Marketing executive Chloe said: "Deep down I knew I wasn't a healthy weight, but when my brother got married and I couldn't fit in the dress it was a real wake up call.
"I had the dress adjusted but on his big day, even though I smiled for the camera I wasn't feeling very happy inside.
"Standing next to the other bridesmaids really brought home to me how big I was."
Former fast-food addict Chloe from Nuneaton, Warwickshire, used to snack on McDonalds and regularly scoffed whole packs of biscuits, donuts and other takeaways every week.

She enjoyed regular boozy nights out with pals where she would knock back sugary cocktails, shots and peach schnapps.
The 23-year-old, who used to consume at least three large pizzas a week, was warned by doctors that her health was at risk due to her unhealthy eating habits.
She was told the bad headaches she was suffering from were a result of staggeringly high blood pressure, caused by her obesity.
But it was only after her brother's wedding in July 2014 that she finally realised something had to be done.
Now she's in the best shape of her life after cutting the fatty foods and swapping her favourite snacks for high protein alternatives such as Protein Pizza from online healthy food retailer .
Chloe said she began by making small but effective lifestyle changes to help her shed the weight.
She explains: "I knew I had to do something so I started exercising gently and changing my diet."
She started going out for walks, did an occasional DVD workout and cut back on the fast food.
She also started going to the gym where she undertook light to moderate exercises, such as walking on the treadmill, cycling and swimming.
Slowly but surely, she started to notice subtle changes to her health and general wellbeing.
Her new found confidence led her to hitting the gym more and more, and she even found herself getting a personal trainer in September 2016.
Now Chloe hits the gym six days a week and takes long one-hour power walks every day during her lunch break.
Alongside her personal trainer, she also does regular weight training combined with high intensity cardio.
Her diet now consists of delicious high-protein meals, including lean chilli, and chicken with vegetables and salads.
She's also quit the binge-drinking and now has just one glass of prosecco or a small wine on a night out.
Her new found love for a healthy, active lifestyle even led to completing the Three Peaks Challenge back in April, a big achievement for a woman who once struggled to walk up the stairs.
She said: "My advice to anyone who wants to make a change is believe you can do it and just start right away by making small gradual changes in your diet and exercise.
"Small improvements start to add up and soon you’ll see great results. Life is too short to be unhappy and unhealthy. And you don’t even have to give up your favourite treats – just find healthier versions instead."
