Remember Gordo from Lizzie McGuire? You won’t believe what Adam Lamberg looks like now
IT’S been 16 years since Lizzie McGuire hit the Disney Channel – and helped to propel stars like Hilary Duff into the spotlight.
Adam Lamberg played Lizzie’s smart and sarcastic curly-haired best friend, David "Gordo" Gordon, who eventually gets the girl to the delight of many fans.
And while Hilary has gone on to star in numerous other productions, Adam is less on the radar and now looks completely unrecognisable.
Along with his on-screen best friend Miranda, played by Lalaine, Adam has stayed out of the limelight but has starred in a few other shows.
These include Lionel in When Do We Eat? in 2005 and then as a young Reggie in Beautiful Loser in 2008 – which was his lasting acting role to date.
The floppy-haired actor graduated from UC Berkley in 2008, with a bachelor's degree in geography, and then obtained a MPA degree from New York City's Baruch College.
Following this, he stayed in New York and is currently studying for a master’s degree in administration.
Even on social media Adam has kept a low profile, and only has a handful of posts on Instagram.
On the back of the Lizzie McGuire success, Hilary Duff went on to be one of the biggest film stars of the 2000s, with movies like A Cinderella Story (2004) and The Perfect Man (2005).
Her personal life has also been well documented, and the star married NHL player Mike Comrie in 2010 and the pair had a son Luca Cruz Comrie in 2012.
The pair split in 2014 but have remained amicable.

Lalaine, who played Lizzie McGuire’s best friend Miranda, went on to try and launch a pop career after the show ended, although it didn’t take off as much as Hilary’s music.
She has since had a cameo role in Easy A in 2010 and was a bass player for band Vanity Theft.
And fans of the Disney Channel show will remember Ethan Craft, played by Clayton Snyder, as the good-looking popular but slightly stupid boy at school.
After appearing in the show for the full three years, Clayton stopped acting to play water polo at Pepperdine University in California and then continued to play professionally in Europe.
But thankfully for fans, Clayton decided to get back into acting and has appeared in a number of TV series and shorts over the years.
In 2016, he starred in the TV mini-series “Edgar Allan Poe’s Murder Mystery Dinner Party,” which ran for seven episodes.
In his spare time, Clayton seems to enjoy doing what most normal people do, like hanging out with friends, playing water polo and travelling the world.
But that’s not to say he wouldn’t like to star alongside Lizzie McGuire, aka Hilary Duff again, as a couple of years ago he said he would be interested in doing a Reunion sequel.
