CBB’s Derek Acorah growls, shrieks and claims to have ‘s*** himself’ in his most shocking clips showing him possessed by malevolent spirits

AS the UK’s top psychic medium, CBB’s Derek Acorah has found himself in some sticky situations while communicating with the dead.

Thankfully, many of his most terrifying possessions were caught on camera during his time working on Living TV’s Most Haunted.

The 67-year old starred on the show from its inception in 2001 until the sixth series in 2005.

While on the programme, he regularly found himself at the mercy of malevolent spirits, and people at home were left fearing for his safety – and that of co-host Yvette Fielding.

One stand-out moment of his tenure on the cult satellite show included when he was possessed by the ghost of a monkey.

While the spirit did not cause him to leap from his chair and scramble across the floor on all fours, Yvette was sure he was affected.

As he sat surrounded by amateur ghost hunters, Derek could be seen twitching his face and wiggling his fingers, as if the ape was trying to find its footing within an unfamiliar human shell.

Other terrifying scenes saw Derek acting aggressively while under the influence of spirits, calling Yvette a “b***h” and telling her to leave him alone as he lunged for her.

One unsavoury entity known only as “Francis” labelled Yvette a “wench” and threatened to “scuttle her legs”, which might have had a meaning other than “move like a crab” back in the olden days.

Once, as the group were using a ouija board, Derek fell backwards and revealed the power of the spirit had caused him to lose control of his bowels.

As he writhed on the floor, he moaned: “I’ve s**t myself”.

Some encounters with the dead were terrifying, with Derek regularly being held back by production staff as he tried to attack Yvette, or destroy the room.

One spirit used Derek’s body to pick up a lamp and throw it at a wall.

There were upsetting scenes in Northumberland, when Derek channelled the ghost of a young boy who had been buried behind a fireplace.

The dead lad also seemed to reveal he hadn’t been alone when he died, hinting that an evil man was somehow involved in his gruesome death.

Another time, he was convinced that a ghost had removed one of his arms, and was visibly upset and confused.

However, one of Derek’s most famous possessions came when he was investigating a possible Dick Turpin haunting.

He was taken over by a frightened lady-in-spirit who spoke through him, repeatedly saying: “Mary loves Dick.”

Last night as he entered the CBB house, someone in the crowd shouted the iconic phrase at him, showing that, like Mary’s love for Dick, the memory of that spooky incident will never fade.

Fans are also convinced that Derek’s spirit guide Sam was caught on camera last night.

And this girl’s cute selfie ended up capturing a demonic Black Eyed Child lurking in the bushes behind her.
